How Does My Garden Grow?

It's definitely growing! You can even see it from a distance!

Michael just built a new box for my melon plants - it's brand new, I haven't even had time to put the squares in yet!

He got all the posts in for our vertical growers (some of which are getting big - those melons really need something to climb up soon!) and you can see the metal roll of fencing in the foreground he's going to attach to the posts. He also bought enough wood to build another box, so that's in the works as well.

Most of my plants are growing quite well.

Nice and neat in their little squares!

Those are pole beans in the back.

The cabbage is getting BIG! But I think it has a little mildew, and something is eating it! GRR. And there's one sad little broccoli plant there on the left...I'm not sure what happened to him...

But my spinach is gorgeous!

My cucumbers are coming up, and I've just planted a bunch more spinach and lettuce in front of it for a later harvest.

The pepper plants are starting to plump up nicely:

And I'm even growing celery! (although everyone says they're not going to eat it! lol)

Look at these gorgeous beets!

And these radishes will be the very first thing we harvest - look, you can already see them!

Gardening has proved to be quite an exciting endeavor!

I can't wait to eat it all - tomatoes, eggplant, cantaloupe, brussels sprouts... MMM!

Your WHAT?

Zoe: "Mom, where's my diarrhea?"
Mom: "Your WHAT?"
Zoe: "My diarrhea! It was right here on the table!"
Mom: "Um... what do you think a diarrhea is?"
Zoe: "A book you write in that no one can look in!"
Mom: "Oh, you mean a DIARY!"

Hatched

Our little robin eggs have hatched.

There were three eggs - I see two babies, but there could be three in there. One decided to hide his head between picture one and picture two!

Mama was fluffing up her feathers and clucking at me the whole time - but I didn't touch - although it was tempting!

They're soooooo darned cute!

Kindergarten Graduation

Well, their first year of school is officially over.

They wrapped it up with a great big party. Lots of food!

And lots of playing.

And tons of games.

And today they graduated! Class of 2020.

*gulp*

Look, Ma, I gradimitated!

Gotta love the hats!

The teachers read three things about each kid as they came up - the thing they liked best this year, what they would do in first grade, and what they wanted to be when they grew up.

Lots of Nascar drivers and veterinarians!

My kids, though... LOL

Autumn's High School Graduation

Autumn graduated from high school today.

Strange, to see the sea of red and white again, 20 years later... she graduated from the same high school I did! There are actually still teachers there who taught when I was in school! *eek*

Here she is, walking up to the stage.

Getting ready to get her diploma!

The big moment!

Say cheese!

Congratulations, Autumn!

Happy 7th Birthday Zoe!

Seven! I can't believe it.

Our little five pound Zoe-bird has grown up to a tall, lanky seven year old princess!

Zoe wanted purple flowers on her cake:

And purple and yellow balloons:

She picked out a special balloon of her own:

She wanted a pinata, and choose a Bratz one:

And then got to beat the heck out of it!

All of her friends came and she got lots of presents:

Make a wish, Zoe!

The girls had a blast, putting on temporary tattoos and decorating their fairy hats, and everyone went home with balloons!

And of course, she had to have a cake at Grandma's too!
Chocolate this time - her request.

And she got the very thing she wanted for her birthday!

Happy Seventh Birthday, Zoe!
