Haha, this TT made me smile! I loved (love) the Muppets and it brought back so many memories of watching it with my family every week!

What happened to shows like that, huh?

Beaker has always been my favorite, but I also love Statler & Waldorf -- even though I didn't know those were their names till just now! Thanks.

I have had students that reminded me of Statler and Waldorf, the constant comments and one upmanship. Cute list!

Oh, the Yip Yip Martians - I LOVE THEM!!
And I didn't know the two old men even had names :)

Since we have no "TV" the kids were watching all our old DVD's and a few of them were Muppet movies. My kids have "lists" where they play/imitate the people/characters on said lists. It's so funny. Tomorrow I will have to ask them who has ANIMAL on their list b/c if no one does (yeah right?), I'm gonna claim him!

At my last job, there were two guys on my team that were often called Statler and Waldorf.
I've always loved Animal and used to have a poster of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem on my bedroom wall (which I sweet-talked from the record store guy.)

Awww, I'd have to put Fozzie on that list. But I watched more Sesame Street than Muppet Show as a kid.

Fun list!

I will always love Kermit, but I think Janice is really my Muppet of all Muppets.

PS. We are #27 (Buck Naked Politics); you don't have your google comments set up to allow users of other platforms besides Blogger to link to their post.

I hope this isn't printed twice...I think I messed up. Anyway, I love the Muppets too! And I like the grumpy old men the best! Have a great week!

Elmo and Cookie Monster.... my personal faves.

I always thought the muppets were great. I think Grover is still my favourite and I like cookie monster too. I live with Oscar the grouche, replicated, so I won't mention him.

We are getting chickens in spring. I home school my four kids. We have 7 acres, 2 dogs and 3 cats, a couple donkeys, a couple bunnies, a tree frog and some fish.

Happy TT.

I love the Swedish Chef. Great list!

Oh I was grinning as I was reading all of these! Great list. I'm still convinced my sarcastic nature was a result of watching Statler and Waldorf

Dane Bramage said...

Statler and Waldorf were my absolute favorites. When The Muppet Show was in first run over thirty years ago (ARRGHHHH!!! I'm OLD!) my high school dorm would stop what it was doing and assemble in the common room to watch it. We all go a kick out of S & W.

Thanks for visiting my Thursday Thirteen #48 edition

I LOVE THE YIPYIPS! my husband I yip yip each other when one of us does something stupid. It's a classic! My second favorite? Snuffleupagus. I had a stuffed one that I slept with for years.

Bork! Bork! Bork!

I was so excited to see this list! My husband and I are having a Halloween party this year, and he's dressing as the Swedish Chef, and I'm dressing as Miss Piggy.

I love it!

Carina said...

Oh yeah, Sherlock Hemlock baby!

My family have always been all about the muppets. My husband had never seen a muppets movie or show when we started dating, so I made him watch them all. They got dumb eventually, but I still love the old stuff.

MetaMommy said...

Statler and Waldorf...hands down. In fact, I've been listening to the Muppet Hits sountrack for years, and soon my little guy will be, too. The best part are the S&W snippets between songs. They're hilarious!

Kendra said...
