Hee hee hee, I loved this Dawn. ESPECIALLY about the professor (duh, no?) and Blair (oh how I loved that show)!

No, Jo wasn't in love with Blair, she was in love with Tootie.

LOVED that show.

I would love to hear the creators of "Gilligan's Island" try to come up with answers for the questions you posed. As for the Fonz, he was a mechanic and later a shop teacher.

It sounds like you missed the "very special episode" of "The Facts of Life" where Jo admitted her feelings for Blair. It was in the final season and featured a guest appearance by a young Ellen DeGeneres as Natalie's boy-crazy cousin.

Great list. Interesting questions you have formulated here and I can't help wonder about some of the same things myself.

I see someone else beat me to the Fonz info :sigh: Sleeping dogs miss the birds in the bush leaving you with worms on your hands... I think I may have messed that up a bit. No. No, that actually works...

Anywhoo, great list & nice to meet you & thanks for stopping by my TT too :)

Hee. I always wondered the same thing about Gilligan's Island. With all the luxuries and technology the Professor rigged up for them, I assume they really didn't WANT to get rescued.

My question about Laverne is different: where on earth did she find all those blouses with "L" on them? Also: why?

I drive my DH nuts by asking those types of questions about movies we see together. He's always reminding me that it's Hollywood :-)

Not only did Jack never sleep with Janet or Chrissy, I don’t think he ever slept with anyone! He was always bringing women home with that intention, but something always happened to get in the way -- someone coming home unexpectedly etc. Not to worry! The three characters always ended the episode with a chaste group hug. I’m sure that was not accidental. I bet the networks wanted it that way. Three’s Company was based on the British show Man About The House, in which the man character, Robin Trip, frequently brought women home and managed to get them to stay the night but the sanitized Hollywood version never included this. Larry, the guy upstairs, often had women sleep the night with him but that was all in keeping with him being a rather shady character.
